The Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department offers several ways to serve your community, both on and off the fireground. No matter your background or experience level, there is a place for you here.
Firefighters are the foundation of our department.
No prior experience is required. Training is provided.
Associate members support the department without responding to emergencies. They help with fundraising events such as bingo, bashes, and other community events that keep the department running strong.
Auxiliary members play an important role in supporting department activities through fundraising efforts including the craft show, flea market, bingo, and other events. They remain a vital part of the department's success.
Junior members gain hands-on experience, learn basic fire service skills, and take part in department activities under supervision, preparing them for future membership.
